In Memory Lemmy



Lemmy was born in the UK and died in December 2015 from a cancer. His real name was Ian Kilmister and became famous as the front man to the heavy metal group Motorhead.

In 1971 he was the lead singer for the group Hawkwind and is the voice on the song Silver Machine.


  

He was sacked from the group and went on to form Motorhead in 1975andthe group released six singles in the 1970s, but none charted in the top thirty.
