Top 50 UK Singles Chart - 31 July 1971

The Top 50 Chart from 31 July 1971 T-Rex topped the chart. Reggae from the Pioneers, Dave & Ansel Collins and Greyhound, Soul from Jackson 5 and Diana Ross, Classic Rock from Atomic Rooster and Creedence Clearwater Revival. Elvis had a double A and Jim Reeves had a Triple A out this week plus many more classics and less heard songs from July 1971

UK Top 40: 2nd July 1977

In the year that we were celebrating the Queen's Silver Jubilee, the one record in this week's chart that made any reference to old Liz was banned by the BBC - but never fear, you'll hear it in this chart, along with every other song in this Top 40 from 39 years ago. This week's chart contained no less than four double-A side singles, so with both sides of those there's a total of 44 songs in this show.
