The long hot summer is at its peak with ladybirds everywhere and water shortages in a lot of places
Meanwhile, in the charts, Hot Chocolate, the Bellamy Brothers, Gladys Knight, Cliff Richard, Acker Bilk, Tina Charles, Georghe Zamfir, Tommy Hunt, Barry White, ABBA and Rod Stewart entered the charts this week.
Elton John and Kiki Dee were still topping the chart. Wings, Billie Jo Spears, Stylistics and Twiggy were climbing the chart. Plenty of disco with Jesse Green, the Bee Gees, the Fatback Band, KC & the Sunshine Band and Walter Murphy & the Big Apple Band. There is also an Extended Play by Bryan Ferry, and many more classics from this very warm summer.
