In Memory Bob Crewe

Bob Crewe, who co-wrote hits including Can't Take My Eyes Off You and Walk Like a Man, and was key to the success of the Four Seasons pop group, has died at the age of 83.
In the mid-1970s, Crewe formed with Sir Monti Rock III the disco club favorites Disco-Tex and the Sex-O-Lettes, best known for their 1975 successes "Get Dancin'" and "I Wanna Dance Wit' Choo".

Bob also wrote Bye Byre Bay (Baby Good Bye) covered in the 1970s by the Bay City Rollers. He also wrote Labelles Lady Marmalade.

In 1975 he had two classic hits in the UK charts of which the second was No. 1. The songs were Swear To God by Frankie Valli and My Eyes Adored you by Valli


Bob also gave the Osmonds a hit with The Proud One in 1975
