Colourful Music Hits of 1975

Here are some music of the 70s hits that had a colour in the title or in the group or artist. All these charted in the UK during the year 1975

1/Sha la sha (Make me Happy) by Al Green.

A modest hit for Al with this record that crept into 1975 from 1974.

2/Pick Up The Pieces by The Average White Band.

A great record from this Scottish group, yes they were Scottish, composed by group member Roger Ball.

Here is the Official Website of The Average White Band.

3/Cut The Cake by The Average White Band

4/What Am I Gonna Do With You by Barry White

The voice of love, who died in 2004, left some fantastic music for us to enjoy. This track came from his album "Just Another Way To Say I Love You"

5/Love L.O.V.E. by Al Green

Albert Greene from the US singing a classic here from the album "Al Green Is Love"

6/Save Me by Silver Convention
A minor hit from this German group.

7/Ill Do Anything You Want Me Too by Barry White

8/My White Bicycle by Nazareth, another Scottish group  who had several rock hits during the music of the 70s.
Here is the Official Nazarath Website
9/Green,Green Grass Of Home by Elvis Presley

Elvis has his go at this song that originally was a hit for many artists in the 1960s, also the song is about a man on death row.

10/Dance Of The Cuckoos (The Laurel and Hardy Theme) by The Band Of The Black Watch.

Its  strangely enjoyable, and you can just imagine the two guys in their black and white capers.

11/Blue Guitar by Justin Hayward and John Lodge

Great guitar work here, and the video is introduced by Gary Glitter.

12/Una Paloma Blanca(White Dove) by Jonathan King.
Two versions of this in the charts at the same time, the other with a slightly different title.

Our number eleven position and twelve position share a sad coincidence, as Gary Glitter in the start of the video to "Blue Guitar" and Jonathan King were both convicted paedophiles.
